Lloyd Davis is a skilled facilitator and participant in online communities, having spent most of his career at the place where people meet technology. During his six years as a Information and Knowledge Manager at the Audit Commission he was at the forefront of efforts to create Knowledge Networks bringing subject areas from around the organisation together to collaborate online and offline. As Head of Knowledge Management at the Commission for Patient & Public Involvement in Health he helped create a culture of online sharing in a hugely diverse virtual organisation of professionals and volunteers with an interest in the patient's view of health services. More recently his internal blog and podcast for a global oil company is forming the basis of a vibrant community around innovation and knowledge sharing. Lloyd is well-known in the London social media scene both for his pioneering work in podcasting and video-blogging and as a hugely effective facilitator of interesting and useful conversation.
