The extraordinary changes taking place in how we create, consume and talk about media content requires the whole industry, policy makers and educators to think afresh about how we can ensure that the public is able to access the social skills, experiences and cultural competencies to fully participate in and make sense of a landscape that is characterised by a ceaseless riptide of innovation.

Overwhelmed by all the videos? The media literacy summit summarised...

I realise the wealth of video captured on the day at the Digital Media Literacy Summit can look a little overwhelming here. With many minutes of interviews and vox pops shared, there is a lot of information to digest.

I've put together a summary of all the video content I was able to capture, along with links to some of the MediaSnackers clips, in a blog post over here.

Whether you were at the event and want a reminder of the key points from the speakers or you couldn't make it and want to tap into some of the ideas and reflections shared on the day - I would recomend making use of the videos captured.
